Manufacturing Standards

• Tanks manufactured according to the European Standard CODAP / ASME by the directive PED 2014/68/EU;
• Dished type MRC bottoms in carbon steel of grade S235JR according to the European Standard EN10025 (or equivalent);
• Steel grit to grade SA 2 ½ ”according to ISO 8501-1;

 

Materials and Procedures

• Body and Bottoms in carbon steel or stainless steel;
• MRC-type dished bottoms in carbon steel or stainless steel;
• Submerged Arc Welding (S.A.W.) where possible, and/or semi-automatic (M.I.G./M.A.G.) In the remaining locations.

 

Standard Equipment

• Pressure gauge;
• Safety valves;
• Manual purge valve ½ ”.

 

Surface Protection

• Steel grit blasting to grade SA 2 ½ ”;
• Surfaces and interior welds in their natural state, clean and properly dried;
• Application of anti-corrosion primer (>40µm) and 2-component polyurethane paint in blue (>50µm) or others (to be defined).

 

Inspection and Testing

• Leak test by hydraulic test according to the code;
• RX exam according to the required;
• Dimensional control;
• Ink thickness control;
• Visual test of the welds.

 

Working pressure

• 10 bar or others (on request).

 

Optional

• Interior painting (when possible);
• Plating;
• Logo application;
• Access ladder, platform, and balcony can be provided.
