Manufacturing Standards

_Containers:

• Marine containers manufactured according to ISO Standard in sheet steel.

_Tanks:

• Tanks manufactured in S235JR carbon steel according to the European Standard EN12285-2;
• Single or double wall in carbon steel of grade S235JR according to the European Standard EN10025;
• MRC type bottoms in carbon steel of grade S235JR according to the European Standard EN10025;
• Steel grit to grade SA 2 ½” according to ISO 8501-1;

 

Materials and Procedures

• Carbon steel wall;
• Carbon steel bottoms;
• Submerged Arc Welding (S.A.W.) where possible, and/or semiautomatic (M.I.G./M.A.G.) In the remaining locations;

 

Standard Equipment

_Containers:

• Access doors to the tank with closure for maintenance and cleaning;
• Air vent grilles in all compartments;
• Superior access to the maintenance entrance with retractable lid for protection against weathering and theft;
• Non-slip floor at the fuel dispenser site;
• Generator for lighting (indoor/outdoor) and feeding of the pump room;
• Fire extinguisher, sandbox, hazard signage, electrical switchboard and emergency stops.

_Tanks:

• Manhole with cap and respective pricks;
• Graduated probe ruler in anodized aluminum;
• 3″ filling limiting valve (>6500m3).

 

Surface Protection

• Stripping by steel shot to grade S.A. 2 ½ ”;
• Internal surfaces and weldings in a natural state, clean and properly dried;
• Application of an anticorrosive primer film;
• Application of external 2-component polyurethane coating, in white or others (to be defined).

 

Inspection and Testing

• Leak test by hydraulic test to the inner body at 0.75 bar;
• Dimensional control;
• Ink thickness control;
• Visual test of the welds.

 

Optional

• Probe rod guide tube;
• Bottom Valve(s);
• Interior paint suitable for the fuel liquid to be contained: Diesel / Gasoline / JET / AdBlue®.
• The customer can decide on another color or even by placing a logo.
